J bars

Robust solution to transporting your Canoe or Kayak

The J BARS are a great way to secure your canoe or kayak to your existing car roof rack. The J bars are powder coated steel 35mm wide by 4mm thick. Length of bar 680mm and tip to tip is 460mm. A thick plastic cover over the J bars protects the kayak/canoe during transport. Strap slots are provided at the end of each J bar. The J Bars are secured to the existing roof rack cross bar with two steel clamps. Each clamp will fit a maximum roof rack bar size of 62mm wide by 30mm (it is possible to change the bolts to accommodate a cross bar thicker than 30mm). A pair of 3 metre straps are also provided with this j bar kit. Fits in under 5 minutes.
